Wallowa Subdivision Articles:The following links include news stories on the controversial proposed subdivision of the Marr Ranch on sacred land in northeast Oregon. The Nez Perce Tribe authorized the Office of Legal Counsel to appeal the Wallowa County Board of Commissioners' approval of the Marr Ranch Subdivision. The City of Joseph has also appealed the Board's approval, and the state Land Use Board of Appeals ( LUBA) will hear these appeals.
